San Fernando: Five former Calypso Monarchs are among 11 selected to challenge Reigning Calpyso Monarch, Karene Asche following Calypso Fiesta at Skinner Park in San Fernando on Saturday.
The former monarchs are Singing Sandra, Chalkdust, Sugar Aloes, Cro Cro and Kurt Allen.
The others selected for the final on Dimanche Gras night next Sunday are Brian London, Leslie-Ann Ellis, Duane O'Connor, Stinger, Devon Seales and Heather Mac Intosh.
