Government is considering Digicel application for a fixed line servce, this was stated by Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Chris Sinckler, as he addressed the launch of Digicel's 4 
G technology at the Hilton Hotel earlier this week.
Lauding Digicel for its technological innovations over the years and its contribution to the Barbados economy, Sinckler said this served to make Barbados not only telecommunications ready but a competitor in the field.
