Georgetown – Former first lady of Guyana and wife of the late former President Hugh Desmond Hoyte died this morning. The 77 year old Hoyte was in a private hospital atwo weeks ago seeking medical attention.
Joyce Hoyte was the first lady from 1985 to 1992.
President Desmond Hoyte died in December 2002.
