Former ministers to testify at Clico inquiry

Port-of-Spain: The commission of inquiry into the collapse of Clico, CL Financial and HCU has resumed after a break. Lone Commissioner British QC Anthony Colman is presiding. Among the witnesses expected to give evidence during this session of the inquiry is former Finance Minister Karen Nunez Tesheira and former Minister of Trade and Industry and former executive chairman of the Caribbean Investment Bank, Mervyn Assam. Assam is expected to explain what happened behind closed doors that resulted in financial chaos within the company.
