Berbice : At about 10:30 am today police ranks stopped motor car PMM 9535 at Molsen Creek, Corentyne, however the driver, who was the only occupant, subsequently managed to drive away from the ranks.
The police pursued the vehicle which crashed at Line Path, Skeldon, and the driver escaped.
The motor car was taken to the Springlands Police Station where a search unearthed a total of 10kgs. of cocaine concealed in various parts of the vehicle.
Two men and two women have been arrested by the police following investigations.
