Essequibo : So far searches being conducted for nine persons reported missing following a boat collision at Crab Falls in the Mazaruni River on January 22, 2013, have resulted in the bodies of four persons being found.
Four persons of nine missing two days ago following a boat collision at Crab Falls in the mazaruni River were found. The four are Jermaine Calistro, 27 years of Boodhoo Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo (EBE); Ulric Grimes, 39 years of Salem, EBE; Christopher Narine, 21 years of Parika, EBE; and Zahir Baksh, 34 years of Kaneville, EBD.
The search is continuing with the involvement of the Joint Services, MARAD, miners and public spirited persons of the community among others.
