Mon Repos: Two murders last evening have now taken the murder toll to four in just three days.
The lastest murder took place in Mon Repos around 9.30 last evening.
Police reports indicate that 18-year-old Dillon Massy of Building D, Mon Repos, was walking through an alley when he was confronted by two men.
Residents reported hearing four explosions and thought they were fire-crackers.
Upon checking for Massy a little later, they discovered his body in some bushes.
The shooting took place just opposite the Mon Repos Police Station.
Massy was one of several men detained by the police under the Anti-Gang legislation during the State of Emergency before being released.
Meanwhile, around 5pm yesterday, 25-year-old Obessa Defour was shot dead following a confrontation with a man in St Joseph.
These latest killings follow the murders of Marcus Cooper who was shot and killed in Princes Town on Sunday night and Lloyd Baptiste on New Year's Day.
Investigations into both murders are continuing.
