Four Seasons being sold

Bridgetown.

 The Four Seasons project is being sold and the Government should get back the $60 million it invested in the controversial hotel development.

Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler gave this assurance yesterday in the House of Assembly where he delivered a lengthy update on the stalled project.

“The Government of Barbados will finally be able to step back from this project. We are extremely close for the takeout of that entire project", he stated to loud applause from his colleagues.

“I can’t call the names of the players but I can say that formal, full proposals have been put to the developers and to the Government of Barbados, and the lawyers are working on putting the details together", Sinckler said

He pointed out that the negotiations were at a delicate stage and that the Government was facilitating the sale.
