Essequibo : Chetram Persaud of Columbia, Essequibo Coast ,today sentence to four years in prison for Trafficking In Person. He appeared at the Anna Regina Court before Magistrate Sunil Scarce.
Persaud was arrested and charged after police investigations found that between November 10th to December 14th last year, had an indigenous girl who was a minor, working at his entertainment bar ‘Soca Paradise’ at Columbia, Essequibo.
