Georgetown: Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr.Roger Luncheon announced Wednesday that the complement of High Court Judges would move from the statutory 12 to 20.
The statutory number of High Court Judges has been 12 for the past three decades. The decision to increase the judges was made by President Ramotar. Luncheon said this should significantly reduce the growing backlog of cases.
