GCSM, Cuba seek businesses interested in attending Havana International Trade Fair

download (2)Georgetown: The Cuban Ambassador to Guyana, Mr. Julio Cesar Gonsalez Marchante, and President of Guyana-Cuba Solidarity Movement (GCSM) Haleem Khan are seeking interested Guyanese Companies to participate in the 33rd Havana International Fair (FIHAV) slated for November 2-7 in Havana, Cuba.

According to Khan, FIHAV will have more than 4,500 national and foreign exhibitors from over 60 countries, and expects to receive 150,000 visitors and the participation of important foreign official and business delegations, thus consolidating as a way of promoting “our country’s international links and relations with the entire world.”

He explained that the FIHAV is a well-established fair that takes place annually since 1983. It is the most important general trade fair in Cuba and the Caribbean as well as one of the most representatives from Latin America. The 33rd edition, of the Fair to be held on November 2-7 in Havana, Cuba.

The Cuban Envoy further said “our aim is to boost bilateral economic and trade relations between Guyana and Cuba…There are many reasons to attend FIHAV Havana this year.  For other countries, it has been a proven entry strategy into Cuba. Exhibiting at your country’s pavilion establishes both brand reputation and a level of endorsement among Cuban business interests.  Exhibiting at FIHAV has been a proven growth strategy for international companies in Cuba.”
