Georgetown: Government on Friday afternoon moved containers containing ballots boxes from the Arthur Chung Conference Center without telling political parties.

This is happening as an order blocking a national recount of votes cast on March 02 by the Guyana Elections (GECOM) remains after several parties applied to be heard in the matter before High Court Judge Franklyn Holder.
Other than the People’s Progressive Party’s (PPP), the three parties that contested separately with the intention of having their votes added are The New Movement; A New and United Guyana; and the Liberty and Justice Party.
