President of the Police Social and Welfare Association (P.S.W.A.) Anand Ramesar today called for the removal of Police Commissioner Dwayne Gibbs. He said the Police Service is now suffering from poor management and as a result both he and his men have no confidence in Gibbs and his team. He said police officers are currently being exploited and treated unfairly and they are now fed up. He said he has writtenMr Gibbs concerning the treatment of Special Reserved Police officers but to date Mr Gibbs has not responded. He said that Mr Gibbs should take his own advice of “if you are not performing then pack up and go.” He also asked that the assessment of the Commissioner of Police be opened to the members of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and the public.
