Georgetown : This morning gold miner Kenneth Joaquin of Arakaka, North West District, was in a motor car which had stopped at the traffic light at Hunter Street and Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, when he was held up by a man armed with a firearm.
The man took away a bag with $5M during which Kenneth Joaquin was shot to his left thigh, after which the perpetrator escaped on a motor cycle driven by an accomplice.
Kenneth Joaquin is receiving medical attention at the Georgetown hospital
