Bridgetown.
The Government must make a decision on fingerprinting travellers arriving and leaving the Grantley Adams International Airport(GAIA).
A police source told Trakker News that lawmen always held the view, that people were coming to Barbados committing crimes and flying back out, because of the absence of evidence they can only speculate on the situation.
The veteran lawman said that the police could not control the movement criminals around the region without fingerprints.
"People use false papers to travell but they cannot change their fingerprints, travellers in and out of St.Lucia are fingerprinted and photographed at the airport, but not here because we are talking tourism, yet people endure it at airports in the United State", the senior lawman said.
