Bridgetown.
President of the Barbados Assocation of Medical Practitioners(BAMP) Dr Carlos Chase, has accused the G several Government of not paying doctors working in the Public Service for several months.
Chase said the matter has been brought to the attention of Minister of Health Donville Inniss.
"Some of the fellows were working three, four, five and even six months in the public service without being paid and that is not good enough" says Chase.
According to Chase, payment has been tardy, slow and sporadic. Inniss said he is not aware of any doctor who has a contract with the Ministry of Health not being paid by the Government.
