The Government of Grenada is placing emphasis on growing the country’s small business sector.
Minister of Economic Development, Trade, Planning and Cooperatives Oliver Joseph says the Government has set aside “a sum of money to assist the small business sector.
The funding will play a part in compensating for a lack of funding generally available for small and medium-sized enterprises, he said.
“We want to see more businesses come on stream and be successful, so together we can grow the Economy. Government “cannot provide all of the jobs, but will work with the private sector and individuals to provide incentives and create employment,” he said.
He was speaking at the Business Support Centre over the weekend.
