Georgetown: The St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital Tuesday received GUY$750,000 from the Guyana Telegraph and Telegraph Company (GT&T) which represents a gold sponsor towards the rebuilding efforts Hospital.
The contribution is being made over a three-year period which began last year.
Chris Fernandes, Chairman of the Hospital’s Improvement Commitment, acknowledged GT&T support while adding that it will go a far way in the hospital’s rebuilding efforts.
The telephone company noted that the hospital has provided outstanding medical care services to Guyana in the past and that it is pleased to support its rebuilding efforts so that the institution can continue to deliver effective health care services in the country.
