Lethem : The police conducted a search on a residence at Tabatinga, Lethem, where the following arms and ammunition and other articles were found:
(a) Four (4) automatic rifles (type yet to be confirmed) along with four (4) magazines and 389 rounds 7.62×39 calibre ammunition.
(b) Six (6) M 16 rifles along with two (2) magazines and 74 matching rounds.
(c) Two (2) Shrapnel hand grenades.
(d) One (1) Icon VHF radio set.
(e) One (1) Icon hand-held radio set.
(f) One (1) roll of camouflage material.
A man and a woman have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
