Guyana elections projections

With 31 percent of the votes verified and reported by GECOM the PPP/C has 46%, the APNU has 43% and AFC 10%.

At the current analysis, the PPP/C would have 30 seats out of the 65 seats in the General Assembly. The APMU would have 27 seats and the AFC 7 seats, if this percentage holds true.

The General Assembly has 65 seats of which 25 is derived from the Regional Representation and the additional 40 seats is calculated based on the Peoples Representation, meaning that the seats will be assigned by number of votes attained.

It must also be remembered that the Constitution definitively calls for 30% of women representation in the house.
