Bridgetown.
Tessa Lovell, 50 years of Essequibo, Guyana, pleaded guilty to entering Barbados without the permission of the Minister with responsibility for Immigration on April 19, 2013, when she appeared in the Bridgetown Magistrate's Court late yesterday.
She was fined $1000 forthwith and was handed over to the Immigration Department for deportation.
Lovell was arrested on May 19, after police officers executed a warrant at the Bagatelle Park, St Thomas residence of her son in law, Immigration Officer Ryan Jordan where she was residing.
According to police, she entered Barbados on April 19th this year without permission and was granted a three month stay.
But reports suggest that Lovell was deported from Barbados back in 2000.
