Georgetown: The 2013 Guyana Exposition was last evening launched under the theme “advancing productivity through innovation, modernization and expansion”.
President Donald Ramotar says GuyExpo provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to develop their technique, increase income and develop the economy through local and foreign investors.
Minister of tourism, industry and commerce; Irfaan Ali urged businesses to become innovative in their ventures.
This year’s GuyExpo is being staged by the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce in collaboration with the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The event will be hosted from October three through five.
