Georgetown: Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) announced that voltage fluctuations from the Guyana Power and Light Company (GPL) are affecting GWI water production facilities, primarily on the East Bank of Demerara.
Affected communities include Yaracabra, Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke and Timehri, including the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA).
According to the utility company, it will continue to communicate with the Guyana Power and Light Company in the interest of resolving these disruptions in the swiftest manner possible.
