The construction of a 20 bed Acute Stroke Rehab Unit will begin at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) tomorrow.
According to director of engineering services at the QEH Paula Agbowu, the Ward C 10 will be reconfiguration.
"Currently, Ward C10 comprises patients presenting with various ailments. These persons are scheduled to be relocated to various wards throughout the hospital this weekend in order for the construction to begin", Agbowu said.
"The construction period will be approximately six weeks the stroke unit opening at the begining of May", she added.
