Port-of-Spain: The High Court has set tomorrow, Wednesday February 1st and Monday February 6th to hear a claim made by the United Clico Policyholders Group against the prime minister and the Cabinet, in which they are seeking leave to apply for judicial review against the Cabinet to challenge Cabinet's decision to refuse to honour the promise of the government made in 2009 for EFPA policyholders to be fully compensated for their policies.
The group, together with four other claimants are also asking the court to make interim orders against the government compelling the government to supply them with information about Clico so that they would be able to properly assess the offer by the government.
