Essequibo : A driver of a motor car is on the run after killing a 71 year old man. The police says investigations are in progress into a fatal accident that occurred last night on the Riverstown Public Road, Essequibo Coast, and which resulted in the death of pedestrian Narine Singh, of Riverstown.
Investigations have revealed that Narine Singh was struck down from behind by a motor vehicle, the driver fled the scene.
