Petra Modoo. a waitress at a sports bar and restaurant found a bag containing US$10,000 on Sunday and handed over to the management of her workplace.
Modoo was clearing a table at Jobu's Sports Bar and Restaurant, St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, when she found the bag with the money, her shift was ending and she give the bag to the restaurant's management
The money was returned to its owner Jamaican Philip Jackson yesterday, who said the experience made him proud to be Caribbean.
Jackson said he had walked over to the restaurant early on Monday morning and could see the area where he sat earlier but it was not there.
"I did not have any hope that I would ever see it again, I had written it off", the London based businessman said.
