Bico the lone manufacturer of ice cream on the island recorded a million dollar lost last year but executive chairman of the company Edwin Thirwell, told Trakker News there are has alread been a turnaround this year.
According to Thirwell despite the economic slow down people are still buying ice cream, this has cause a profit of $200,000 has for the first quarter of the year.
"In 2011 we paid attention to maintaining market share and keeping staff employed. We are still feeling the effects which destroyed our manufacturing plant in August of 2009",said Thirwell.
