Georgetown : A Sophia man who was shot by the police is listed as stable in the Georgetown Hospoital.
At about 6:00 pm yesterday, ranks of a mobile police patrol in ‘B’ Field, Sophia, stopped Colin Shaw, 42 years, after he was seen acting in a suspicious manner.
As the police were about to conduct a search on him, Colin Shaw attacked one of the ranks with an ice pick causing the rank to resort to the use of force and he was shot to his left foot.
A quantity of cannabis sativa was found on Colin Shaw who has been admitted a patient in a stable condition and under guard at the GPHC.
