Jamaican O'Neil Brown, tricked the Immigration Department into giving a passport under a fasle name. He then got a fake Barbadian ID card and applyed for three other passports, what followed in the next two years was a racket that saw the Jamaican travelling to Canada on the fake passport and being deported.
He re-enter the island and obtained another fake passport and local ID card and three birth certificates, last month, Brown applied for two Barbadian passports on behalf of two Barbadians who were purported to be living in Jamaica.
Immigration officer Cornell Jordan noticed that was wrong with the application and informed the police.
Brown appeared in the District A Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to a number of charges, including making a making a false statement to the Immigration Department on Feburary 16, 2009, that he was a Barbadian which he knew to false.
Acting Magistrate Manila Renee remanded him to HMP Dodds .
