Four new Independent Senators were sworn at Government House yesterday by Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave.
The new senators are retired banker and former president of the Barbados Cricket Association Keith "Tony" Marshall, attorney at law and longstanding president of the Museum and Historical Society Dr Trevor Carmichael, retired educator Alwyn Adams an manufacturer John Watson.
They were sworn along with veteran trade unionist Sir Roy Trotman, Dean Emeritus Harold Crichlow and Professor Henry Fraser.
