Barbados stands to benefit in a huge way from from the recently held Information Technology Summer Teens Programme.
This the view of Dr Basil Springer. a consultant with the Caribbean Business Enterprise Trust Incorporated who believes the programme can be converted from a summer experience to a business that can contribute to the development of Barbados.
In a address at the closing ceremony of the programme over last weekend, Springer provided participants with tips to a successful business and reminded them to practice good management skills.
The programme was a collaboration between telecommunications company, LIME and the Community Development Department of the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development.
