Legislation covering integrity in public life and the prevention of corruption will be passed before the dissolution of Parliament.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart give this asurance at a meeting of the St Michael South West Branch of the ruling Barbados Labour Party last nigh at the St Leonard's School, Stuart said both bill would be passed by the House of Assembly and Senate in all stages before the next election is called.
"All of those who think they can stand in the way of elevating the public life of Barbados to acceptable levels can prepare for a war if they attempt to so", Stuart said
"We are coming now with an Integrity Bill that can cover people in public life in Barbados and to make sure that the quality of public life in this country is elevated beyond where we are seeing it now, manifested in the Opposition party and other parts of Barbados", he added
