Investigators trying to determine origin of early morning fire which left millions in losses

Georgetown: Once again the landscape of Georgetown this time at Water street area has changed with another devastating fire that destroyed 3 buildings and left millions in losses. Firefighters were unable to safe anything since the old wooden buildings caught quickly and within minutes went up in flames. It is believed that the fire started at the Transport and Harbours Department bond that contained millions in engines parts and ship stores. Mings ship building location and a structure belonging to Beharry were the others destroyed. Investigators this morning have no clue as yet what caused the blaze.

Minister Robeson Benn who was at the scene just after 1 this morning when the fire broke out explained to members of the press that he does not believe that the fire was electrical in nature.
