Several Barbadians were without electricity yesterday afternoon, after a fault occurred on the electricity transmission system near to the Belmont Road sub station tripping sveral generators that were in operation which caused an islandwide blackout.
Power was restored to most household by late afternoon but a section between Clermount and Holder Hill, St James remained without power for sometime afterwards.
