Georgetown: The Joint Opposition Political Parties (JOPP) will be hosting a Special Press Conference on Friday 24th June 2011, in the Savannah Suite of the Pegasus Hotel at 10:00 hrs.
Subject of the Press Conference will be to announce the launch of A Partnership for National Unity and to create awareness of the formation of the partnership to enter the Elections of 2011 in Guyana. The People's National Congress has given up it's 1957 name in effort to join forces with the other political opposition parties in an effort to defeat the ruling PPP/Civic at this year's elections slated for sometime around the 15th of October.
