Oliver Jordan has resigned as managing partner of Deloitte Consulting Inc, the company which was appointed by the High Court in Barbados on April 13, 2011, to manage the affairs of the trouble insurance company CLICO International Life.
A source told Trakker News, Jordan's resignation could have a serious impact on the CLICO situation as Patrick Toppin, the other judical manager has stepped down as managing partner of Deloitte and was preparing for retirement.
In a statement issued last night Toppin that he would take charge of the process and would represent the firm in court on Monday when the final CLICO restructuring plan was presented to the High Court next Monday.
Jordan is expected to join Deloitte’s competitor PricewaterhouseCoopers as a partner.
