Georgetown: The University of Guyana Turkeyen Campus comes alive on February 16 for an event dubbed “Campus bubblin” as the Karma Band and Shal Marshal will be headlining a grand Mashramani concert on the lawns of the University.
The University of Guyana Students’ Society (UGSS) will be teaming up with the recently established “Team Suga Entertainment” to pull this one off. Shal Marshal and the Karma Band are internationally known names. Marketing Officer of UGSS, Marvin Wray, said the students’ society is working with the vision to change life on campus for the better.
The event’s sponsors include big names such as Banks DIH, Traveler’s sound system, Hotel Tower, White Castle Fish Shop, Giftland Office Max, and others. The event starts at around 15:00hrs with fun and games for the family, and will continue in the night with what is hoped to be electrifying performances by Shal Marshal and the Karma Band. Ticket locations include Clippers Barbershop on Camp Street, White Castle Fish Shop, Hotel Tower and several others.
Tickets have already been released countrywide at the cost of $2,000 and $12,000 respectively. Those purchasing the VIP tickets will be allowed free of cost into the Edge Lounge for an after party with the performers.
