Knowledge of heritage is important

Barbadians should be aware of their history and its significance and importance says businessman and former  president of the Barbados National Trust Paul Altman.

Speaking at the Open Day of the Jewish Synagogue, Altman said:"With respect to the natural heritage, we need to inform people, to teach people and to do more to convey the sense of its importance, what it means, we all need to recognise the heritage of Barbados".

He emphasised such events as the Open House at the Synagogue.
