Bridgetown.
A search is on by the Government for additional land to continue its Urban High Rise Housing Programme.
Minister of Lands and Housing Michael Lashley, told Trakker News while houses are currently being constructed at Valerie,St Michael and Exmouth Gardens at Deacons in the same parish, the National Housing Corporation (NCH) will not be resting on its laurels.
"We recognise the demand for housing and the limited land space, in addition to the 70 plus houses at Valerie and the 100 houses earmarked for Exmouth Gardens, we will definitely be looking to expand this programme and move it into other parts of the urban corridor", Lashley said.
