The police is getting tough with motorists who continue to park illegally in Bridgetown.
Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch told Trakker News the practice of motorists parking "willy nilly" in Bridgetown has to stop.
"Every year during this time it hapens, there are some people who block alleys that are used in cases of emergency. There are major arteries in to Roebuck Street that are blocked , we have to be cognizant that an emergency can occur at any time and keep these alleys clear", Welch said.
He appealed to the public to use the designated carparks.
