Bridgetown.
The police have launched a manhunt for bandits who robbed several people in three parishes on Wednesday night of cellphones, jewellery, and cash.
The armed bandits pounced on people standing at bus-stops and walking along dark lonely roads in the parishes of St John, St Philip and St George.
Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch last night confirmed to Trakker News that lawmen were investigating a number of robberies involving three men in a vehicle who were armed with guns.
He did not give the specific locations and the number of people who were attacked. Unconfirmed reports indicate that one of the victims was shot in the leg.
