Two police constables are to appear in court charged with a number of offences, while another one may soon be charged.
Constable Ishmael Watkins is facing four charges involving assault against a minior and one charge of indecent assault against the same minor. The offences allegedly took place between November 1, 2010 and March 29 this year. He is expected to appear in the District "A" Magistrates Court on Thursday.
A source told Trakker News that another police constable is scheduled to appear in the District "A' Magistrates Court this morning to answer a charged relatiing to stolen property. According to the source the lawman is accused of stealing the property of a man who was in police's custody.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that a senior police officer is being investigated for allegedly assaulting a female police officer.
