A female lawyer was granted bail when she appeared in the Bridgetown Magistrates's Court on five charges yesterday.
Rashda Lani Daisley was charged with unlawful resistance, misconduct by behaving in a disorderly manner, unlawfully assulting Police Constable Kim Rock in the execution of her duties, unlawfully resisting Police Constable Yushawn Gamble in the execution of his duties and trespassing by not leaving the premises of the Customs Office of Shed 2 when order to do so by Assistant Comptroller of Customs Charles Parris.
The offences were allegedly committed on September, 12, 2012. Daisley, 32, of Casa Costanera, Paradise Drive, St Michael, was represented by Elliot Mottley, QC, his daughter Mia Mottley, QC, the president of the Bar Association Andrew Pilgrim and Wilfred Abrahams. Daisley will was order by Magistrate Douglas Frederick to return to the court on March 5, next year was represented by
