LIME and BWU talk wages this afternoon

Bridgetown.

The Barbados Workers Union (BWU) and the telecommunications compant LIME resume wages negotiations under the chairmanship of Minister of Labour, Dr Esther Byer -Suckoo this afternoon.

According to Byer-Suckoo the talks would reconvene later this evening after the meeting of Cabinet. The BWU has been asking for a 17 percent increase for its members, while LIME has offer 7 percent.

On Tuesday LIME adjusted it's offer slightly to 7.5 percent..
