Telecommunications provider LIME has laid off 35 employeers, Sunday was their last day with the company. A source told Trakker News the workers were from various departments.
In January LIME sent home 62 workers, mostly from the retail stores that have taken over by a private operator.
At that time, LIME's management indicated that a total of 95 employees would have been going home.
According to LIME, the most recent layoffs are made up of the others who were identified then for termination
A senior member of LIME's management told the media layoffs was part of the agreement negotiated with the Barbados Workers Union.
