Georgetown: The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred sometime yesterday at Kara Kara Public Road, Linden and which resulted in the death of pedal cyclist Carl Bentick, 62 years of Amelia’s Ward, Linden.
Investigations revealed that the pedal cyclist was proceeding along the roadway in the same direction as motor car PKK 3831, when it is alleged that by the motorist that the pedal cyclist swerved into his path and was struck down.Carl Bentick was taken to the McKenzie Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. The driver of the motor car is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
