Georgetown : Head of the Presidential Secretariat ( HPS) Dr. Roger Luncheon this morning confirmed with CNS Television 6 of a meeting scheduled for this Friday with the TV station's managers and President Bharrat Jagdeo in capacity of Minister of Information.
TrakkerNews was reliably informed from a source at the TV station that managing director of CNS TV 6, CN Sharma spoke with
Dr. Luncheon this morning who denied sending a five page document that stated CNS licence is suspended for one year with immediate effect.
When Sharma asked if a letter inviting him to meet with the President was signed by him, the HPS said yes, he send that letter but could not explain how another document was enclosed in the same envelope sent by the Office of the President,
Sharma now maintains that the suspension document was designed for him when he meets with the President but accidentally reached into his hands before time.
The five page document has information recommended by the Advisory Committee on Broadcasting (ACB) of breaches of CNS licence over the past 10 years.
