Mahdia businessman recovering after being robbed and shot by bandits.

Georgetown- Businessman, Roger Hinds is recovering at a city hospital after being shot twice last evening in D'urban street by two bandits who trailed him from Garnett street. Reports are that the men knew that Hinds had money and valuables in his possession. Eyewitnesses recalled that the bandits pulled out the victim from his car after he stopped in the vicinity of Joseph Pollydore street in Lodge, and shot him twice. The men took away 5 million dollars in cash and jewellery. The police working on description has launched an investigation. Hinds operates a hotel and supermarket in the mining town of Mahdia.
