Walter Maloney has been relected as president of Barbados's main public sector union, the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW).
Maloney convincingly defeated challenger Danny Gill in yesterday's poll. He got 671 votes while Gill polled 441.
There are two new executive members, first vice president Akanni McDowall and third vice president Charles Bostic.
Margo Bannister defeated Volta Lowe in a close race for the post of second vice president . Treasurer Pamela Humphery was re-elected unopposed.
